Do you remember the pastel coloured patchwork knit wear that I used to wear some years ago? It was from MIKIOSAKABE and I heard that the girl who was behind that knitwear has launched her own brand so I went to see her collection when I was in Tokyo last week.
Mari Odaka has launched malamute last season AW2014-15. She has graduated from Bunka Fashion College and Kokono Gakko. Even while she was studying she was contributing to the collection of MIKIOSAKABE. Her speciality is the knitwear that she plays a lot with colour combination and jacquard motives.
For this season malamute has created image movie of the collection collaborated with the photographer Eiki Mori.
