SEOUL FASHION WEEK SS/15 – SUZANNE SUSCEPTIBLE – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Part of the Generation Next showcase, Suzanne Susceptible presented a young and playful collection, which managed to be smart and fresh at the same time. Armed with black surgical masks, a true must-have for any self-respecting Seoulite, the models wore tailored outfits and loose separates, which offered an amusing take on classic wardrobe shapes, such as a full skirt done in black PVC, a short-sleeved shirt trimmed with large pleats or a fitted pantsuit in oversize gingham. Some of the most interesting looks were the ones mixing floral motifs with graphic patterns, as well as the exclusive drawings appearing on long t-shirt or sweatshirt dresses. Soojung Cha's bold style and sense of irony distinguished her from other fellow designers showing in the same category.

Best,

Philippe
