Tzuri Gueta grew up on the shores of the Mediterranean and the fact that he was in direct contact with the elements of nature which is very clear when you look at his work. He worked with Li Edelkoort at Trend Unon and then went on to concentrate on textile design. He likes to work with surprising materials and his work is somewhere between sculpture and jewelry. Last year he put on the exhibit Noces Vegetales in the greenhouses of the Jardin des Plantes, the botanical garden of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and tis year he has launched the Department of Object Design.
"I wanted to succeed in combining organic inspiration with an ultra-contemporary material. Lace injected with silicone allowed me to accomplish this union and much more besides." Tzuri Gueta.
