I met Ludovica Amati on my last visit to Rome and was enchanted by her fashion presentation. July 14th Ludovica opens her work-shop/gallery in her beloved Ibiza.
"Ibiza is an enchanted place and I am held captive by a strong bond for as long as I can remember. I've been coming to the island since the age of fourteen and I am profoundly tied to this magical isle, where the land is always red and has also been, always, a crossing point for artists, musicians, bohemians, sculptors, writers and world travellers whom, by sharing a particular vision of existence, create a very special life on this charming land over the sea", as manifested by Ludovica.
The space located in the heart of the old town, looking over the Plaza del Mercado Viejo, opens as a workshop and a location for the exchange and sharing of projects and ideas. Along with the pieces of the season underway, one will find special unique items and custom made dresses.
The showroom opens up, as well, as a research center to share with other designers whom, like Ludovica, feel a passion for the island and share a similar attitude in style as do Buba London, Sophie Anderson, Shooting Bag, Italian for Italy and Shamballa Jewels.
