Les 3 Marches de Catherine B celebrated her 20 years of her boutique exclusively vintage Chanel and Hermes and a chat with Antoine Kruk, illustrator/costume designer

Dear Shaded Viewers,

I passed by Catherine B to celebrate her 20 years of collecting and selling vintage Chanel and Hermes. While there we had a nice little chat and even a very sweet story about our mutual friend Cameron Silver, vintage expert based in LA. I also had a fun chat with Antoine Kruk , who made the poster for Catherine B and who had just returned from Japan where he had designed the costumes for Takarazuka  an all female Japanese musical theater troupe based in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. I'd never heard about them but he told me it is quite kitsch and that women play all the roles in lavish Broadway style productions of Western-style musicals. I'm waiting for him to send me some images of the costumes that he designed.

Later,

Diane
