SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
Paganica-L'Aquila, Italy. April – 7 – 2009. A 98 years old lady, Maria D'Antuono, was pull out from the ruins of her house 30 hours after the earthquake that devastated Abruzzo, in central Italy, occurred. When someone asked her what did she do all that time, she answered: "I did my crochet."
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
Born in Milan, graduated in law, working in International NGOs for women in economics for 12 years, while studying visual art, music, theatre. In 2003 she moves to Rome and dedicates mainly to filmaking. She wrote and directed a feature film INTO PARADISO, premiered at Venice Festival 2010, winner of several awards; and many award winners videos and shortfilms.
