SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
ABCDead is a gothic tale of sadness and woe, tracing the decline and fall of Amy, Basil, Cynthia and Doris who all come to untimely ends, in the most fashionable attire. ABCDead reflects a morbid sense of humour shared by film maker and shoe designer Tracey Neuls and features accessories designed by Dean Sidaway. Premiered at the ICA January 2012.
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
Camilla Robinson is a film director working with live action and animation as well as documentary formats. She is from London and trained in Fine Art before becoming a set designer and filmmaker. She often collaborates with artists, designers and musicians making both single screen works and multiple projection installations. Her particular fascinations are fashion, dark humour and children’s stories, the two of which are combined in her latest project ABCDead.
