I've been to Issey Miyake's show with friends Rosa Orrantia and Guillero Ruiz de Loizaga this morning after having a breakfast at Place des Vosges where Issey Miyake Paris is located.
Of course, our Diane Pernet was also there as always.
I loved the authenticity, freshness and the use of traditional japanese printing and dying techniques in the collection.
I personally think he is one of the few young designers who actually work with the very high end of technological fabrics with an understanding of utility, not only for surface effect like so many other designers.
Also he definitely has a sense of reality without being boring.
