Under the direction of Chef Seppe Nobels Graanmarkt13 restaurant has prepared a healthy and light menu with an emphasis on seasonal and regional cuisine. The fish is from the North Sea and is selected according to what is on offer in the market. Vegtables come from the field and the focus is on nature and animals and plants that are raised in a respectable manner. City agriculture has Graanmarkt13 with 40 m2 of herbs and vegtables and we all know that good pollination is necessary to bear a rich crop and that is what the bees, placed in between the herbs and vegtables in bee hives are responsible for.

To further understand the importance of bees Graanmarkt13 and bee-keep BoechoutseHoning.be organize workshops under the guidance of Rik Janssens. While enjoying a honey dinner or lunch you will not only learn about the bees life but participate by wearing a bee-keeper's hood and discover the bee hives. At this time the participants will take part in the honey harvest.
