Dynamo a Century of Light and Movement in Art at the Grand Palais Paris

Dear Shaded Viewers,

DYNAMO covers a century of light and movement in art from 1913 – 2013. It is a huge exhibition taking us from the beginning of the 20th century to the present representing the use of light and the many different approaches to vision and the treatment of space. The exclusively abstract works illustrate this interrogation each share these points in common regardless of their approach, technique or nature. Issues are probed such as form, its presence and disappearance, perception and how artists work in and with space through experimentation. The Head Curator, Serge Lemoine, Curator, Matthieu Poirier with Assistant Curators, Marianne Le Pommere and Domitille d'Orgeval. The Exhibition Designer is Veronique Dollfus.
