Loving the Jean Paul Lespagnard jacket that JP just gave to Yoann for his 30th birthday. I'd brought him a little piece of turquoise that unfortunately I'd left in my other bag. Sorry Yoann, I know you used to like to carry rocks and things in your pockets as a kid. Yoann threw a combination party for his friends to celebrate both his birthday and the release of Woodkid's Golden Age album which will be out Monday. The party took place at a London style pub in Paris called Pom Pon where there was an abundance of good friends, food and drinks and everyone seemed very happy to be there, I know I was.
It was great to see Yoann again, last time was from a distance as I listened to the crowd stamping their feet in joy at his concert at the Rex. His career has been like a shooting star and well deserved on every level.
