Watching the development of a designer gives me great pleasure. Today I visited the showroom of Jean Paul Lespagnard, a designer that I've known since he participated, and won two prizes, at the Festival d'Hyeres. Then it was his collection based on a girl working in a Belgian Fries shop who had fallen in love with a Rodeo Cowboy. Today…the collection is mature, relaxed and very coherent. I even tried on a gold brocade coat. Never expected to find gold brocade at JP's.
