FILM SYNOPSIS:
Influenced by the photography of HP Horst, Stieglitz and Shaw the film depicts a sensuously moving women set against a painted backdrop. While her gracious gestures set in motion the referenced stills, animated geometric abstractions of a city-scape fill the frame in a sequence of carefully choreographed modernist compositions.
DIRECTOR BIO:
After her study of photography at La Cambre, Hanan studied cinematography at l’ECTQ in Canada specializing in editing. Back in Europe she worked for Le Book, Partizan, Paris Office/ GQ Magazine and Mantree. Her last moodfilm was on the winter collection “Strong Women” by designer Chris Janssens. Hanan is represented by Allan&Watts Agency in Antwerp.
