FILM SYNOPSIS:
The film plays with taboos and gender stereotypes, exploring a different kind of female beauty. It provides a glimpse into the world of female bodybuilder Kizzy Vaines. The visual aesthetic and soundtrack are reminiscent of the late 70s/early 80s, the golden age of female bodybuilding. It pays homage to pioneering goddesses of the sport like Lisa Lyon and Rachel Mclish.

DIRECTOR’S BIO:
Elisha Smith-Leverock is half German, half American. She studied photography in Berlin. After graduating, she worked as a freelance photographer and contributor for several international fashion magazines. In 2005 she moved to London. Parallel to her career as a photographer, she started experimenting with moving image and in 2009 she crossed over into the world fashion films & music videos.
