Youth: as candid and mercurial and hungry, as impetuous, sensitive and poetic and just as high as youth could be. Youth with their heroes inside their wardrobe, worshipped with restless love and pride, tattoos and lust, idols in biker jackets or Savile Row suits, in fitted leather trousers, all uniforms and lasciviousness. Anna and Tuomas Laitinen's spring collection focuses on menswear's tight, intimate relationship with its heroes, from Ian Curtis to Alex James, Bobby Gillespie and Brett Anderson, wide ranging vocals and tempting Britishness in a wild Kureishi landscape. Album sleeves and urban graffiti are then turned into iconic digital prints on cotton or silk, co-designed with photographer Chris Vidal Tenomaa for a very special, suggestive and beautiful tribute.
