The Family Dress by Do-Knit-Yourself and NABA has made it to Paris and is now installed at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs

Group shot the dress

Dear Shaded Viewers,

For the past 5 years students of Fashon Design at NABA, directed by Nicoletta Morozzi, the knitters of knit-cafes, the fans of the radio show Pinocchio, hosted by La Pina and Diego on Radio DeeJay have all been collaborating on a collective outfit. So far the family dress has been exhibited at the Salone Internazionale de Mobile in Milan and the International exhibition “Dritto Rovescio Intrecci di fili tra arte, and today the dress has made it to Paris. Tomorrow from 6pm to midnight all of the museums in Paris are open and free and so I invite you to join in on the fun at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs  and slip on the dress and dance to the DJ’s primal drum beats. This is the 8th edition of the Night of Museums, the museum is located at 107 rue de Rivoli and will be open to midnight Saturday 19th May.

Xdress made by prisoners
THe group of dresses at the opening were knit by women in prison.

From 18h to midnight tomorrow experience it.  Nicoletta Morozzi’s  proposal along with Knit-it-Yourself (Lorenza Branzi, Andrea Cote, Aldo Lanzini, Nicoletta Morozzi, Fabrice Ribechi) and the students at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti of Milan will be waiting for you to slip into one of the 26 elements of a single dress.
