Decades Cameron Silver in Paris filming his tv show
Dear Shaded Viewers,
Finally some quality time with Cameron Silver. We went to dinner with his friend Sutton Stracke and Mr. Pearl. Sutton Stracke and Cameron were getting measured for Mr. Pearl corsets. Exciting. I met Cameron about 7/8 years ago on my only trip to New Zealand. He was giving a talk and had the audience spellbound, me included. Robb Young was there too for a little double trouble. When I co-curated my first fashion film festival, You Wear it Well, in 2006, Cameron hosted a lovely dinner for me and 17 friends. I was beyond touched by his grace and he continues to hold a special place in my heart even though I hardly ever see him for more than a fleeting second at the couture shows in Paris. Tonight was so sweet with Mr. Pearl and Sutton.
