Now back in London, Maison Fin De Saison put together this tender monochrome souvenir of their Parisian experience at On|Off Showroom. Their "Man Garb" collection comes from a delicate love for dense philosophy and a sophisticated, balanced spirituality of Indian roots, in a perfumed blend of feminine discipline, intimacy and intellectual awareness. Dramatic and lavish fabrics like a deep petrol taffeta slide slightly to disclose a multitude of sheer, luxurious linings embracing the soul beneath in a fascinating, layered private architecture. A series of lighter, transparent pieces in sheer Chantilly lace, tulle and subtle elegance hints to a new, suggestive openness in ideology, luminous and confident and consciously permeable, while plumed hems in emu or ostrich feathers gleam with inviting emerald sparkles.
