Dear Shaded Viewers and Diane,
Corrado De Biase's winter show felt like a perfectly striated, opalescent and virtuous exercise of style. Watery, frail lines like trails of fingers on sugar veils would cross more definite, lacquered stripes, sprinkled with studs and glares, in the suburban shades of petrol and graphite. Upon this grid, silvery ivy branches would climb, romantically softening its geometry either in their quilted, baroque preciousness or in crystalline delicate lace. Chequered silhouettes in bloom on beautiful glossy platforms, framed by neat collars and cuffs and softly smoked, superfine tights.
Later,
Silvia
