LAITINEN FW 12/13 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

The news at Laitinen's presentation yesterday was color, which I was very happy to see. This season, designers gravitated toward orange, eggplant and dark green. I loved the printed outerwear and use of shiny fabrics, which felt sleek and sharp. Several pieces were hybrids, referring to uniforms, functional sportswear and 90s club culture. It was a bold move for the Finnish duo, which clearly paid off.
