It was an old Venetian palace to inspire designers Silvano Arnoldo and Massimiliano Battois' new winter collection, hosting none but shivers and vapors as so often in Venice palaces do. Memories of an ancient, odd nobility floated above the wavy outlines of furniture shaped by damp, as if soaked in myth, and in the haze, the sandy velvets and diluted silk curtains whispered of an opulence built on water grounds.
