Evan McKie, principal dancer for the Stuttgart Ballet
Dear Shaded Viewers,
Mr. Pearl and I were invited to the Gala des Etoiles at Theatre des Champs-Elysees last night. I'd never attended a ballet gala so had no idea what to expect. What Mr. Pearl and I loved was watching Evan McKie perform. Afterwards we went for dinner around the corner from the theatre. Then both Mr. P and I went back to work. I am interviewing Evan for ZOO Magazine issue 34.
First time we met was when Evan was the principal dancer in the role of Onegin at the Paris Opera, last month. His performance was an outstanding success.
