CHEVIGNON HERITAGE BY MILAN VUKMIROVIC – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Anyone who was a teenager in 1980s France knows what Chevignon is. The iconic French brand asked Milan Vukmirovic to collaborate on a line of sleek and sharp separates. With military and nautical inspirations -as well as luxurious fabrics- the Heritage line is a smart and stylish proposal. I loved the knitwear pieces and tailored wool jackets.

Vukmirovic's reinterpretation of the iconic Togs Unlimited jacket was done in buttersoft black leather and it worked. This first collection was presented at Pitti Uomo in Florence and the collaboration will last another season.
