Dear Shaded Viewers,
When Dries Van Noten was the president of the fashion jury at the festival d'Hyeres in 2010 he discovered the photographic work of James Reeve who was one of the photographers in the festival's photography competition. James' work was entitled 'Lightscapes' . Dries was inspired by his work and they had a meeting and decided to collaborate on Dries' S/S 2011 collection. The nightscape photos taken in cities like Beirut, London, Las Vegas and Marseille appear on a group of dresses, shirts, skirts and accessories.
