Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,
When I went to Tokyo Designers Week 2011, the exhibition itself was a little too commercial to me comparing to DESIGNTIDE 2011 – however there was an interesting art exhibition TDW-ART Elpis-Sky of Hope curated by Sueo Mizuma, the owner of MIZUMA ART GALLERY.
As Mizuma believes that what ever the situation, powerful artworks will never lose their strenth and in such hard times that Art can demonstrate the power of its magic. The title of the exhibition, "Elpis – Sky of Hope" reads that there is the shining "sky of hope" lies ahead of the darkness brought by the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11.
