Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,
October has to be the best month. I took off in search of silence and solitude for a day and was lucky enough to find it. Its a rare and needed gift. I thought about Dali and how he was inspired by the California coast, especially as I saw the large rock below resemble a man's profile. A massive starfish, a purple sea anemone, the remnant of a crab, the bright orange sun melting into the sea. The shapes and colors of life and nature are something to treasure and inspire. (More in the actual experience than iPhone photos, but here you go).
