An amazing experience in a lovely tea shop in Ginza….

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Instead of breakfast this morning Akiko Hamaoka took me to an amazing tea shop in Ginza. I ordered a macha and she had a sencha. That was the beginning of the experience. First they brought me an espresso of a macha, deep green and creamy, that was followed by another macha and sweet cakes, then another tea and all of this for what would equal 5 EUROS. Then when I went downstairs to the shop to purchase a sencha tea, another cup of tea was offered. On the top level there was a gallery, I fell in love with a platnium glazed bowl but as it was equal to 600 EUROS I passed on it. The artisan that made the cups and bowls was present and we had a lovely chat. I'll be dreaming of the bowl….

Imagine, lovely serene environment and wonderful tea and lovely cakes and all for 5 EUROS total for each of us….in the center of Ginza.

When we left we passed by a line in front of the Belgian chocolate shop.
