The box… is like a sarcafagus, of course you are going to have to wait till tomorrow to see exactly what I mean by that. The mummy here is the bottle. 'This is the second bottle that Rei has ever designed. Everything is made in France and the box is all one white piece of cardboard, amazing oragami like you've never seen. This is completely Rei. A long meditation just to open the box and then of course no easy feat to put it back together. More on that tomorrow. The scent…industrialized flower to go with the glue, an imaginary flower from an unknown civilazation.
There have been a lot of series, a lot of perfumes but this one is really different. The box is the perfect setting for the semi-hand blown bottle made of glass that nobody wanted anymore. 'purposely taking a bottle that has been disqualified from existence and purposefully giving it its right to exist.'
