Dear Shaded Viewers,

The early fall weather here in Beijing is lovely….breezy and sunny despite the smog haze hanging over the more modern buildings in the distance. I feel rather disconnected from the rest of the world, here in the new center of the world, not far from what the Qing and Ming Dynasty emperors regarded as the center of the universe, the Forbidden City.

Going to the opening ceremony of the Beijing Design Week installations at 751-D (near the 798 Art District) in the early evening, followed by a press dinner and party. Will post my first report from BJDW at the beginning of this work week.

Love,

Glenn Belverio
