DP ASVOFF in Perth Now

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Tomorrow I am off to Perth for my first trip downunder. Miguel Villalobos and Graham Tabor are already there working on their Hic et Nunc exhibition. ASVOFF will have an exclusive screening on the 13th. Konstantinos Menelaou will be on route from London. We are all invited by Portal + Zekka. ASVOFF will screen at PICA Perth Cultural Centre on James Street Northbridge and Hic & Nunc will be open from the 12th – 25th 76 King Street. The opening is strictly by invitation. The exhibition marks a new direction for the team behind Zekka. Portal + Zekka will be a new space where ideas  and creative expression are explored. The project's guiding principle is to not be confined to representing work of a particular or defined discipline. Physically PORTAL + ZEKKA will be located in Mosman Park, Western Australia. However the idea is to connect those exhibiting with people not only in Australia but beyond.

In commemoration of this event , Miguel and Graham's first monograph Nic et Nunc has been published in collaboration with PORTAL + ZEKKA.

Above Rossy de Palma and I at Cannes. She broke me in, I was a Cannes virgin before this lunch.
