EROTEME,is the name of the fashion tarot cards and use the term EROTEME to signify a devotion to Opera. Characters are dressed in contemporary fashion yet they play their role in a forgotten opera. Sue Tilley, the muse of Lucia Freud's and the subject to the most expensive painting of a living artist to ever be sold , is portrayed as Brunnhilde from Wagner's Die Walkure; Velvet D'Amour, a curvy plus size model who walked for Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano plays the part of Mozart's Queen of the Night. The cast goes on. The graphic of their bodies are echoed and enhanced on the back of the cards with illustartions by Julie Verhoeven. The light colours underlie the dreamy atmosphere of Eroteme that fluidly retlates fashion and Tarot Cards.
