ETHICAL FASHION AFRICA: YOOX ORGANIZED THE LAUNCH OF A BAG COLLECTION BY VIVIENNE WESTWOOD & ITC AT PITTI BY NUNZIA GAROFFOLO

The launch of Vivienne Westwood's Ethical Fashion African bag collection was organized by YOOX.COM in collaboration with legendary photographer Juergen Teller. The project is part of the Ethical Fashion program which was created by ITC (International Trade Centre, an Agency of UN). THe setting was the Villa Corsini. The idea is to help emancipate African communities from poverty by giving them work. You can buy the bags on www.yoox.com. The bags were made out of recycled materials such as textiles and aluminum. Afterwards we watched a video by Juergen Teller documenting the work of Vivienne Westwood in Africa.
