Rovinj, Croatia – Gail Buckland is a New York based author & curator on photography. She is also the former visiting Professor of the History of Photography at The Cooper Union in NY. As somewhat of a continuation to Buckland's 2009-10 NY exhibition, Who Shot Rock & Roll, she has been invited to Photodays to curate an exhibition of similar Rock & Roll photos, shot exclusively by women photographers. The exhibition adresses a cultural history through the lens of these photographers, & the lives of these figures in music & entertainment that have shaped & transformed in many ways the world around us.
