Way back in 2006, EGR sent me a fashion film that he made. I liked it and along with the road movie that Eley Kishimoto had commissioned me to make to mark the launch of their menswear collection, EGR’s film was the motivation behind my very first fashion film festival. You Wear it Well was co-curated with my LA correspondent at the time. It was nice to wake up to EGR’s new film today just before hopping the plane to Cannes for ASVOFF.
