Little Shilpa's AW 11/12 collection showcased at Lakme Fashion Week was India's first digital presentation.
The collection is inspired by "Les Fleurs du mal" by Charles Baudelaire, a volume of poems that caused outrage when it was first published in Paris in 1857. Its three main themes, deception, decadence and debauchery have been incorporated in the collection by "poeticizing their erotic melancholy from feeling to form".
Shilpa Chavan is on of the leading designers/creative directors in India and has won prestifious awards such as Accessory designer of the year for Marie Claire and Elle magazines, India.
