When I was in London I met Jordan Askill and was totally transported by his work. His brother had a film in ASVOFF 3, Jordan Askill is an Australian designer based in London who likes to tell mythical stories through his jewellery and sculptures. After school he worked for Hedi Slimane at Dior Homme. He creates his jewellery in the same way that he creates his sculptures and is fascinated by nature and animals. His pieces are like amulets that you wear for their beauty and their protective qualities. His process is to use 3D scanning technology so that he can recreate his sculptures and turn them into Jewellery.
