Dear Diane, Dear Shaded Viewers,

Here i am in the midst of Milan Fashion week, there's electricty around Via Montenapoleone, where Max Kibardin celebrated his latest collection of High Heeled Shoes….which kicked off Genova style, back to jeans, with swarovski crystals dotting the worn, ripped denim surfaces, hard work and elegance, on your feet and in your face…….I'm sure Sarah Jessica Parker will be delighted about Max's mad, new direction and picking up a pair for her next season of Sex and The City! Jeans heels juxtapose Max's latest partnership with Pringle of Scotland, where Max metaphorically transforms feet into hooves,  possibly a 3d realisation of early drawings by Dadaist Meret Oppenheim, where "woman becomes animal". One of my reasons for being in Milan was to exhibit our latest collaboration together. I worked with Anat Ben David on applying Max's golden high heels inside an instructional art performance, with performers/Choreographers; La Terremoto de Alcorcon, Meritxell Romanos and MASU FAJARDO. The performance THESE SHOES WERE MADE FOR PAINTING, took place at L' Estruch, Sabadell, Barcelona, 2 days ago, here you can see the remnants of the action.
