Dear Shaded Viewers,
Today Seth and I went to see My Dearest … My Fairest at the Bouffes du Nord. Joanna Dudley, an Australian musical artist is a good friend of my friend Andrea Splisgar and Andrea highly recommended that I see the piece…I went. Even though I'm still a bit sick. The fantasy piece is a story of love that goes from the 13th century to today…all in one hour. The two directors/performers/musicians, Joanna Dudley and Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola played children's toy instruments which included cowbells and kazoos, kiddy pianos and carillons. Unfortunately I can only show you what the theatre looked like before the performance as photos were not allowed during the act. The performance was out of a fairy tale and the audience loved it. This is the tenth year that the two have performed My Dearest…My Fairest.
Everything took place around the table.
Later,
Diane
