Dear Shaded Viewers,
I met Mario Salvucci in New York City in the 80 s when he was making jewelry and selling to Barneys and making the accessories for my fashion shows. Seven years ago he left New York after 22 years and moved back to Italy. Once back in Foligno he started working on new designs using the laser cut technique but this time the size was much bigger and the jewels became lamps, Progetto Lanterne. Starting January Mario is back in business with his jewelry line which will exist at the same time as Progetto Lanterne. One for the body, one for the house.
