My friend Elaine Neocleous, the designer behind her brand Callioppe, told me that she had met Laura Albert, other wise known as JT Leroy author of Sarah which was a national bestseller and as you probably know caused quite a scandal when it came out that Laura Albert was in fact JT Leroy. We had a great time over lunch.
