LABELS INC / RA CHAMPAGNE AND CAKE EVENT – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Labels inc and ra teamed up to launch a new vintage section last weekend. Labels inc will source specific pieces and bring them to the store. Romain Brau was telling me how vintage's always done extremely well at ra and demand has been growing. Expect Mugler, Chanel, Balenciaga and other unnamed wonders amongst Erna Vandekerckhove's selection. Romain looked dapper in his crisp dinner suit, which was the perfect match for Erna's black locks.

Guests chatted and mingled, sipping some champagne and sampling the delicious cakes, baked by Harald Ligtvoet and his partner.

The clothes on display looked great and vintage feels hot again. Maybe it's that quest for individuality and identity, which defines every style lover… I was on a sugar high and left before getting too drunk.
