RIck Owens transformed the gallery, Salon 94 and Rudy Weissenberg , into a contemporary sleeping quarters based on his apartment in Paris. Pavane for a Dead Princess, is Owen's first presentation of furniture design in the US and is inspired by Maurice Ravel's composition for solo piano written in 1899. Owens' work in furniture references a variety of 20th century icons: Le Corbusier, Luigi Moretti and Donald Judd. Salon 94 is at 12 East 94th St and is open Monday-Friday from 10h to 18h.
