Dear Shaded Viewers,
There may have been a new wind of sobriety blowing on some Milan catwalks this week, but don't expect Etro to go minimal on their audience just yet. Their collection was high on trademark paisley prints, shiny satins and silks, as well as traditional Chinese details giving the clothes a well-travelled, contemporary vibe. It was one of their strongest shows to date, focusing on individual, luxurious and feminine pieces, without renouncing their witty and slightly off-kilter approach.
I loved some of the evening looks, particularly the one-shoulder satin numbers.
Best,
Philippe
