Even though Abe Chitose has been designing since 1999, this season was the first season that she presented her collection in Paris to the Press. Before launching her own line, she worked for 8 years with Junya Watanabe. Signature of the Sacai collection is the way Abe mixes contrasting textiles and textures in one look. She is not into trends and thinks of her pieces as being timeless and original.
