I was asked to contribute to the SHOWstudio: 10 Days of Naomi project which is part of the exhibition SHOWstudio: Fashion Revolution at Somerset House. It will continue over the Christmas period and if you are in London around that time it is really a must see. Fashion Revolution is a totally dynamic resume of the work of Nick Knight and SHOWstudio over the past 10 years. One of Nick Knight's images of Naomi Campbell was rendered in 3-D to create a giant statue. The sculpture was created from a triple exposure photograph which was then translated into three-dimensional data and finally digitally carved. My entry is merely a little text which was inspired by my only real encounter with Naomi at the age of 15. I was a designer in New York and she was the model in the photo shoot.
