Art Director Donald Schneider reunited with Nan Goldin for a lecture in Berlin. They know each other from the 80's in the East Village. Nan's photos are as powerful now as they were thirty years ago. They oscillate between glamour and the gutter, euphoria and happiness and above all their strength is in their radical intimacy. Nan photographs people she is close to with sensitivity, capturing their identity, sexuality, desire, violence, sickness and mourning.
