Dear Shaded Viewers,
On our last day in Riga Damien Carlier, our gracious host, took us around town, first stop Gallery ALMA for their Contemporary Icons exhibition which is up until December 14th. We were all drawn to the sculpture called black power. The idea of the exhibition was to have 15 famous artists explore the theme of what is an icon and how does an object become an icon?
