Tonight in Milan Start begins, it is a weekend of contemporary art
that announces the opening season of many of Milan's galleries. Start was founded in 2005 and is a non profit association consisting of 41 galleries. Today was the vernissage of Korean artist Sea
Hyun Lee at Zonca & Zonca,and a young Moroccan artist, Latifa Echakhch,both at the Francesca Kaufmann gallery.
It was Latifa Echakhch's first solo show at the Francesca Kaufmann gallery where the ongoing series called Derives was presented . The decorative motifs from Islamic architecture reference the star.
