Dear Shaded Viewers,
The Zero + Maria Cornejo collection was a soft collision of urban and natural elements. Inspirations were the contradictions in Maria's surrounding environment.
organic curves of a wood neck cuff.
abstracted photographs form prints inspired by the black static of white noise, water, blue sky or grass.
urban cement, chalk or grey colors combined with organic linens, soft folds and "Cuttlefish" dresses.
Juxtapositions of skewed, sharp, structured and curved lines, floating, ultra-tech and fluid fabrics transmit city tension and the wild serenity of nature.
An urban/environment collision happened on Sunday night when a cat burglar climbed my balcony and crushed the lavender whilst robbing neighbors. We snoozed through it thanks to the margarita's at Ohne Titel's cocktail party.
Two of my favorite people, Cornejo muse Kristen Munchheimer and Oakley Munson.
Best,
Sarah
