Made of Japan Magazine – Onitsuka Tiger Celebrates a New Generation of Creativity

Onitsuka Tiger is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, in Japan turning 60 is an honour: it completes the 60-year 'cycle of life'. For that reason the Japanese sports brand Onitsuka Tiger decided to create an inspirational magazine dedicated to 'sports-fashion' enthusiasts worldwide.

Made of Japan features more than 30 iconic personalities, including Chiharu Shiota, Naomi Yotsumoto, Yusuke Iseya, Hirofumi Kurino, Thomas Demand, Dave Cowens and Lasse Viren. 

The creative team of ZOO Magaine collaborated closely with Onitsuka Tiger to create this collectors item. A numbered, limited-edition gift set that includes the magazine, a pair of shoes and a T-shirt from the 60th Anniversary Collection will also be available. The one-off Made of Japan is a limited edition of 10,000 copies and will be distributed in exclusive shops in Japan, the US and Europe as of September 1st. In Paris you can find it at Colette, Amsterdam at  SPRMRKT, Henrik Vibskov Boutique in Copenhagen as well as international airports and railway stations.
